Allied Anesthesia Technician

URMC – Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Allied Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers and surgical teams. The technician will assist with preparing anesthesia equipment, supplies, and operating rooms while ensuring equipment is clean, organized, and ready for procedures.

Location: Rochester, NY

Facility: URMC – Strong Memorial Hospital

Pay Rate: $28–$32/hour

Shift: Days

Contract: 13–26 weeks

• Prepare and organize anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Assist anesthesia providers during surgical procedures.
• Check and maintain anesthesia equipment.
• Ensure required supplies are available before procedures.
• Assist with operating room setup and turnover.
• Follow hospital safety and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesia Tech preferred.
• Hospital, surgical, or operating-room experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work day shifts.

Must meet facility-specific credentialing requirements.
