What we measure. Time to hire is the number of days from a role being opened to a candidate accepting your offer. Use your own average across recent hires in the same family of roles — mixing warehouse hires and executive searches into one number will not tell you anything useful.
What we compare it to. Your figure is placed against the typical market range for your industry and against the range Bluebix targets. Because hiring speed varies enormously by sector, the comparison is always industry-specific rather than against a single cross-industry average.
How the score is built. The 0–100 score is interpolated between anchors that mean something: the Bluebix target range scores 100, the fast end of the market range 70, the market average 55, the slow end of the market 35, and twice the market’s slow end 0.
What this is not. This is a benchmarking aid, not a valuation. It does not estimate the financial cost of a vacancy, and the ranges are indicative rather than a published study — treat the output as a direction of travel, not a precise figure.
