Asset/Move Project Manager I (Relocation Project Manager) Los Angeles-Based Position.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) and relocation activities for new construction, renovation, and swing space projects. This role is responsible for managing planning, procurement, installation, and move coordination to ensure successful project delivery and full operational readiness of facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage FF&E activities including programming, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, installation, and close-out
• Oversee relocation and move management including scope development, bidding, scheduling, and on-site coordination
• Coordinate with project teams including architects, contractors, and stakeholders to define project scope, budget, and schedule
• Prepare and manage FF&E budgets and track expenditures throughout project lifecycle
• Review design and construction documents to ensure proper integration of FF&E with building systems
• Coordinate IT equipment planning and installation with relevant teams
• Manage vendor coordination, procurement processes, and contract administration
• Ensure timely delivery, installation, and punch list completion for all FF&E items
• Maintain documentation including purchase orders, invoices, logistics records, and reports
• Provide regular project status updates and reporting
• Support project close-out activities related to FF&E and relocation
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6–10 years of experience in:
• Project Management
• FF&E coordination/procurement
• Relocation / move management
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and furniture drawings
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in educational or public works projects
• Knowledge of procurement and asset management processes
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Visio, or design software
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam
• Relevant certifications (Interior Design, LEED, IFMA, etc.)
