Associate Asset Manager – Foreclosure / Servicer Oversight

Role Overview

The selected candidate will manage an assigned loan portfolio while working closely with internal teams, loan servicers, and legal counsel to ensure foreclosure processes move forward efficiently while minimizing risk and maximizing asset recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned loan portfolio and monitor the system of record to identify discrepancies, errors, or servicing trends that require action.
• Review daily dashboard reports to ensure loans progress through foreclosure processes and address any issues that arise.
• Coordinate communication between loan servicers and attorney firms to facilitate referrals, requests, and documentation.
• Evaluate counsel recommendations for non-standard foreclosure situations and determine the most appropriate course of action.
• Review and respond to servicer requests to ensure maximum recovery and reduced risk.
• Address operational issues that may impact the foreclosure process, including:
• Property condition and violations
• Insurance claims
• Document deficiencies
• Title issues
• Loss mitigation matters
• Compliance with GSE guidelines
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational enhancements.
• Support special projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, LPS, Tempo, or FiServ is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Loan Servicing, Collections, or Foreclosure operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on risk management and resolution.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills when working with servicers, attorneys, and internal teams.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented with a professional and collaborative approach.
