About the role

The position involves managing misdemeanors, felonies, resentencing, and post-conviction matters, attending daily court appearances, conducting jury trials, handling DMV-APS hearings, performing legal research and motion drafting, and providing strategic case analysis and client consultations.

Requirements:

• 1–5+ years of criminal defense experience

• Active California State Bar license (in good standing)

• Experience with contested motions and DUI/vehicle-related matters preferred

• Strong courtroom presence, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage a demanding caseload independently

Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $160,000 annually (based on experience), along with benefits including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid time off.
