Associate Attorney

Job Description

We are seeking a driven Associate or Senior Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. We are looking for a self-starter with at least one year of litigation experience (civil or workers’ compensation) who possesses a competitive spirit and a desire to build a long-term career. We provide a robust support system, including a dedicated legal secretary, to ensure your success. This role is open to fully in-person, hybrid, or remote work arrangements with a base salary range of $90,000 to $200,000. Bonus incentives are provided in addition to base salary.

Qualifications:

• Credentials: Must be an active member of the California State Bar in good standing. While all litigation backgrounds are welcome, at least one year of experience in workers' compensation defense is preferred.
• Client Advocacy: A dedicated professional committed to proactive communication and delivering superior results for clients from the initial referral through final resolution.
• Core Competencies: Highly organized with a sharp analytical mind and the ability to translate complex legal research into persuasive written and verbal arguments.
• Tech-Forward: Proficient in modern office tools, including MS Office, Teams, and the Meruscase management platform.
