About the role
We are seeking mid-level to senior associates with strong civil litigation experience to join a growing litigation practice. We are particularly interested in attorneys with experience in Employment Law and Insurance Defense, along with candidates specializing in Commercial Litigation, General Liability, Transportation, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction, Cyber & Data Security, Environmental/Toxic Tort, Insurance Coverage, and Bad Faith.
Non-partner-level attorneys at all experience levels may be considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with standard fee agreements.

Key Responsibilities
Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
Analyze legal and factual issues and develop case strategies.
Manage discovery, including written discovery, document review, and depositions.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
Participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
Collaborate with partners, associates, clients, and other legal professionals.
Manage assignments independently with minimal supervision.
Provide strong legal analysis and persuasive written and oral advocacy.
Handle matters involving employment law, insurance defense, and other civil litigation practice areas.
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school.
Active admission to practice law in the applicable state(s).
Civil litigation experience, preferably at the mid-level to senior associate level.
Experience in Employment Law and/or Insurance Defense preferred.

Excellent legal research and writing skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Stable work history.
Trial experience preferred but not required.
