About the Job:

A well-established plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Fort Lee, New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex and high-value personal injury matters from inception through trial while working closely with experienced trial attorneys and support staff.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through trial.

Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and responses.

Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda.

Handle depositions, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.

Develop case strategy and collaborate with senior attorneys.

Supervise and mentor assigned paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff.

Coordinate with investigators, expert witnesses, medical professionals, and clients.

Maintain compliance with court deadlines, procedural rules, and litigation requirements.

Advocate effectively for clients throughout all phases of litigation.

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Active license to practice law in New Jersey.

Admission in New York is highly preferred.

Minimum of 3–5 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.

Strong knowledge of New Jersey and New York court rules and rules of evidence.

Experience handling cases through discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.

Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Strong negotiation and client advocacy abilities.

Ability to work independently and within a collaborative litigation team environment.

Demonstrated leadership and case management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual in Spanish or Korean.

Prior experience managing litigation support teams.

Trial and courtroom experience.

Interest in long-term career growth and leadership opportunities.
