Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Attorney role. The Attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload focused on employers’ liability and workers' compensation. Core responsibilities include providing legal advice, conducting thorough legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients during hearings and trials.  

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, be able to handle a case load 120-125. The candidate will work directly with clients to set and achieves the client's goals. Some travel required, as the firm handles cases throughout the State of Illinois. We offer health insurance beginning on the first day of employment. A 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions is available after 6 months of employment. Optional dental, vision, and long-term disability insurance coverage are available. 

Qualifications

JD and already admitted to the Illinois Bar.  

Must be in good standing with the Illinois Bar

Strong knowledge of Law 

Proven ability to provide accurate and reliable Legal Advice

Experience in conducting detailed and comprehensive Research for case preparation

Skilled in Negotiation and resolving disputes effectively

Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Prior experience in workers' compensation or employer liability law is a plus
