Attorney

This role is ideal for an experienced attorney with a strong background in complex commercial real estate and related finance transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, mortgages, equity investments, and leasing. It offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment alongside experienced professionals serving a sophisticated client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, with a focus on acquisitions and leasing
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements
• Conduct due diligence on corporate documents, titles, mortgages, and related materials
• Manage transactions from inception through closing
• Develop and grow a personal book of business
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Lead and mentor junior attorneys and support staff
• Collaborate across practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• 10+ years of real estate transactional experience
• Strong experience in structuring and closing real estate acquisitions
• Proven ability in business development (a portable book of business of $500K+ is preferred)
• Supervisory experience
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
