Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have experience working in diverse medical settings. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to patients across various care environments, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Additional Information:

  • Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 Per Hour(The pay varies based on the shift)
  • Shifts: Flexible
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Overtime: Available
  • Pay Period: Weekly Pay (Every Friday)

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
  • Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Support medical staff with procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, and basic life support when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Document patient information clearly and accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
  • Provide compassionate care tailored to specific needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care, or behavioral health conditions.
  • Assist with medication administration under supervision and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams in settings ranging from acute care units to outpatient clinics and home & community care programs.

Skills

  • Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center, ICU), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for medical documentation and patient records management.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care.
  • Experience with specialized care such as hospice, infectious disease management, pediatric or geriatrics populations.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength and dexterity including the use of Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required; additional certifications like Phlebotomy or Level II Trauma Center experience are advantageous.
