Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to join an established engineering and materials testing organization in Redding, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the geotechnical engineering side of the business.
Perform and oversee geotechnical investigations and site evaluations.
Conduct site geological mapping and field investigations.
Prepare and review technical geotechnical reports.
Perform site inspections and provide technical oversight.
Review staff reports and provide technical guidance.
Support project planning, execution, and client needs.
Provide technical leadership and help grow the geotechnical practice.

Required Qualifications

Licensed Civil or Geotechnical Engineer.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience working on geological and/or geotechnical engineering projects.
Experience with:
Geotechnical investigations
Site geological mapping
Technical report preparation
Site inspections
Soils/geotechnical engineering
Strong technical, communication, and leadership skills.
