Position: Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead commercial electrical construction projects from award through completion
• Work closely with field leadership to plan manpower, scheduling, and project execution
• Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project resources
• Monitor labor, productivity, project costs, budgets, and profitability
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, schedules, and change orders
• Communicate directly with general contractors, owners, and project partners
• Address field issues and resolve challenges proactively
• Ensure field teams have current drawings, information, and resources
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide timely communication
• Manage multiple project priorities while keeping close attention to details

Ideal Background:

• Strong experience managing commercial electrical construction projects
• Solid understanding of electrical construction and field operations
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and schedules
• Experience managing labor, budgets, schedules, and project profitability
• Comfortable working with general contractors, customers, and field teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with project management software
• Working knowledge of the NEC
• Knowledge of the Kansas City commercial construction market is a plus
• Master Electrician license is preferred but not required

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $90,000–$115,000
• On-Target Earnings: $100,000–$140,000, including commission and performance-based bonuses
