We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience independently managing complex commercial and civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload involving business, construction, employment, insurance, and real estate disputes while working closely with clients to achieve strategic and practical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage commercial and civil litigation matters from inception through trial, arbitration, and appeal.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, written discovery, and legal memoranda.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Handle motion practice, mediations, settlement negotiations, and evidentiary hearings.
Represent clients in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings.
Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments and objectives.
Collaborate with legal teams and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Multijurisdictional litigation
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Texas.
Federal court admission preferred.
Florida Bar admission is a plus.
Demonstrated trial and arbitration experience.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload.
Strong client relationship and communication skills.
Practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Spanish language proficiency preferred.
