Position Summary

The Commercial Roofing Project Manager is responsible for managing commercial roofing projects from contract award through final completion. This role oversees budgeting, contract administration, scheduling, client communication, and coordination with field teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing projects from initiation to closeout.
• Review project scopes, specifications, and contract documents.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Process change orders and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Resolve project issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Perform final inspections and oversee project closeout.

Required Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking.
• Knowledge of contract administration and compliance.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Proven project management experience in construction or roofing.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial roofing or building envelope systems.
• Familiarity with roofing materials such as TPO, EPDM, PVC, and metal roofing.
• Knowledge of change orders, procurement, and subcontractor management.
