Job Description

The Commodity Specialist Level 1 will support commodity acquisition strategies, procurement activities, supplier relationships, market analysis, pricing, and product availability. This role will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to support business objectives and develop effective sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support commodity acquisition and procurement strategies.
• Assist with commodity business plans and market trend analysis.
• Research pricing, product availability, and supplier capabilities.
• Assist in developing negotiation strategies and maintaining positive supplier relationships.
• Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to exchange and present information.
• Build effective working relationships across the organization.
• Analyze routine issues and data using established procedures and guidelines.
• Follow company policies, processes, and established procurement practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Entry-level opportunity; previous professional experience is not required.
• Ability to learn and apply procurement and commodity management concepts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze information and resolve routine issues.
• Ability to work effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
