About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Assist Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

Support project scheduling, procurement, logistics, and document control activities.

Track project progress, budgets, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and material deliveries.

Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and field teams to ensure smooth project operations.

Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Assist in reviewing contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Monitor project costs and support billing, invoicing, and budget tracking activities.

Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action items.

Help identify and resolve project issues, risks, and scheduling conflicts.

Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

1–5 years of construction industry experience preferred.

Understanding of commercial construction processes, methods, and project management principles.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Experience with construction management software is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to project success.
