About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, scheduling, and managing project execution while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while working closely with field teams, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage construction projects through the complete project lifecycle.

Review project scope, plans, specifications, and contract requirements.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and execution plans.

Monitor project budgets, labor, materials, and overall project costs.

Coordinate with project engineers, field supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and clients.

Prepare, review, and manage monthly project billings.

Identify out-of-scope work and prepare change orders.

Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Attend jobsite meetings and provide regular project status updates.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and company standards.

Manage procurement and scheduling of materials and equipment.

Track project performance, milestones, and deliverables.

Maintain strong client relationships by responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Collaborate with estimating and accounting teams throughout project execution.

Resolve project issues while minimizing schedule and budget impacts.


Required Qualifications:

2–4+ years of Construction Project Management experience.

Experience managing projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience with project management software.

Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Experience working for General Contractors and/or Specialty Contractors.

Experience with electrical construction projects.

Knowledge of public works construction projects.

Experience with Caltrans projects, traffic control, and low-voltage electrical systems is highly preferred.

Familiarity with construction methodologies, scheduling, estimating, and change management.
