We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager – MEP to oversee commercial projects involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler systems. If you excel at coordinating subcontractors, controlling budgets, solving field challenges, and keeping projects on schedule, this could be your next career move!

What You'll Be Responsible For

Lead Projects from Start to Finish: Manage project planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout while ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
Own Project Performance: Monitor budgets, schedules, progress, and change orders while identifying and resolving potential issues.
Coordinate Multiple Trades: Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler activities to maintain smooth coordination across project teams.
Manage Subcontractors and Vendors: Coordinate work assignments, material procurement, equipment deliveries, and project timelines.
Drive Permits and Approvals: Follow up on permits, approvals, city-agency requirements, and compliance documentation.
Oversee Site Activities: Attend site meetings, support inspections, monitor quality and safety, and resolve field-related challenges.
Build Strong Client Relationships: Communicate with owners, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects moving forward.
Maintain Project Documentation: Prepare and update project schedules, reports, meeting records, and other essential project documents.

🎯 What We're Looking For

Demonstrated experience managing construction projects, preferably commercial or MEP-related.
Strong knowledge of project scope, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and multiple construction trades.
Familiarity with permits, city approvals, inspections, and construction compliance requirements.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler systems.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management or scheduling tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work full-time on-site in New York, NY.
A background in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
