About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage day-to-day field operations for commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive field experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining excellent communication with project teams and subcontractors.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily construction site operations from project start through completion.

Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.

Develop and maintain project schedules while monitoring progress and productivity.

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and all applicable building codes.

Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and resolve construction issues promptly.

Coordinate project activities with project managers, engineers, architects, inspectors, and clients.

Monitor labor, equipment, and material usage to help maintain project budgets.

Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals to ensure project accuracy.

Schedule inspections and ensure all required permits and documentation are maintained.

Prepare daily reports documenting project progress, workforce, safety, and site activities.

Identify project risks and implement effective solutions to minimize delays.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in construction, including experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar leadership role.

Strong knowledge of commercial, residential, or industrial construction practices.

Experience managing construction schedules, budgets, and subcontractors.

Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations and construction site safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software is preferred.

Knowledge of local building codes and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
