About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent / Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout. This role serves as the primary on-site leader responsible for daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, safety compliance, inspections, documentation, and project reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of working independently, and experienced in managing projects from mobilization through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage day-to-day construction site operations.

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Develop and maintain project schedules, including look-ahead planning and milestone tracking.

Obtain permits and coordinate inspections with local authorities.

Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.

Prepare, submit, and track Requests for Information (RFIs).

Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and enforce jobsite safety protocols.

Conduct safety meetings, site inspections, and subcontractor orientations.

Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and photographic documentation.

Utilize Procore for project management, reporting, and document control.

Review subcontractor scopes of work and assist with bid evaluations.

Manage change orders and coordinate project modifications.

Compile project documentation, including receipts, lien waivers, and draw package support.

Collaborate with ownership and stakeholders regarding project budgets, schedules, and progress updates.

Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, Project Manager, or similar leadership role.

Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish.

Strong proficiency with Procore construction management software.

OSHA 30 Certification.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Experience coordinating permits, inspections, subcontractors, and project schedules.

Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with construction draws, lien waivers, and project financial documentation.

Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar project management software.

First Aid and CPR Certification.

Commercial, industrial, multifamily, or flex-space construction experience.

Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and change order management.
