About the Job:
We are seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney (Energy) with 2–4 years of corporate transactional experience to join a dynamic and growing Energy practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated corporate and energy-related transactions while collaborating with experienced attorneys and serving a diverse client base.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance, licensing matters, and general business transactions. While prior energy industry experience is preferred, candidates with strong corporate transactional backgrounds and a genuine interest in the energy sector are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a variety of corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt and equity financings, and corporate governance.
Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including:
Purchase agreements
Disclosure schedules
Financing and security agreements
LLC operating agreements
Commercial contracts and related legal documents
Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal analysis on transactional matters.
Assist with due diligence and transaction management from inception through closing.
Work directly with clients while managing multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to deliver high-quality legal services.
Maintain exceptional accuracy, organization, and attention to detail throughout all stages of transactions.
Required Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
2–4 years of corporate transactional legal experience.
Admission to the Connecticut or Massachusetts Bar and in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on energy or utility-related transactions.
Demonstrated interest in the energy industry.
Experience leading transaction workstreams and communicating directly with clients.
