Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Criminal Defense Trial Attorney to join a growing legal team focused on delivering exceptional client representation in criminal defense matters. This role is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about courtroom advocacy, trial work, and providing outstanding legal counsel while collaborating with a team of experienced litigators.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in misdemeanor and felony criminal cases.

Handle cases involving DUI, assault, domestic violence, drug offenses, theft, and other criminal matters.

Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.

Develop case strategies and negotiate with prosecutors.

Represent clients during hearings, bench trials, and jury trials.

Conduct legal research and prepare cases for litigation.

Participate in client consultations and provide legal guidance throughout the case lifecycle.

Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure exceptional client service.

Required Qualifications:

Active Washington State Bar membership.

3–5+ years of criminal litigation or criminal defense experience.

Strong courtroom advocacy and trial experience.

Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Collaborative, client-focused, and professional approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

Former prosecutor experience.

Personal Injury litigation experience.

Jury trial experience.

Spanish language proficiency.

Experience using Clio or other legal case management software.
