Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Contract Duration: 9 Weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $70–$80/Hour

Overtime: Available

Stipend: Available

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing operations in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have strong nursing leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to nursing staff.
• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure effective staffing and workflow.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and quality.
• Support staff development, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, policies, and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administrative teams.
• Monitor clinical performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Assist with quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience.
• Current nursing credentials/licensure as required.
• Strong clinical leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support nursing staff.
• Strong commitment to quality patient care and safety.
• Ability to work the required Monday–Friday schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

• $70–$80/hour
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
