Director of Operations

This role reports directly to the Founder and comes with full authority over day-to-day operations.

The right candidate will grow into the Chief Operating Officer role, becoming a core member of the executive leadership team as Curio Storage continues to expand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in leadership roles within multi-site self-storage operations
• Proven experience overseeing remote or centralized operations across multiple locations
• Strong understanding of revenue management, pricing strategy, occupancy optimization, and expense control
• Demonstrated ability to build, document, and enforce SOPs in a growing organization
• Experience leading and developing distributed teams, including customer service and maintenance functions
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to balance strategy and execution
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to collaborate closely with ownership and external partners
• High integrity, sound judgment, and the confidence to make decisions and hold teams accountable
