Key Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue growth and develop strategic business opportunities within biotech and pharma markets
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while identifying and closing high-value partnerships
• Leverage industry relationships to expand business within preclinical drug discovery environments
• Develop customized, science-focused proposals and client engagement strategies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams to support project execution and growth initiatives
• Monitor industry trends, market activity, and emerging client needs
• Establish scalable sales processes and forecasting strategies to support long-term business growth

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of business development or sales experience within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments
• Strong network and industry presence within the Boston/Cambridge biotech market
• Proven success achieving or exceeding revenue and growth targets
• Deep understanding of preclinical and/or clinical drug development processes
• Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts effectively with technical stakeholders
• Experience discussing rodent and/or non-human primate models preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required; advanced degree preferred
