Dual Enrollment Algebra/ AP Stats

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Dual Enrollment Algebra and AP Statistics Teacher to join our team on-site in Metro Jacksonville. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons aligned with state standards, developing and implementing assessments to gauge student progress, and maintaining detailed records. The educator will also collaborate with colleagues, provide support to students with varying abilities, and communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders to ensure student success. Additional duties include participating in professional development opportunities and contributing to school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage students, collaborate with colleagues, and liaise with parents and administrators.
• Experience or capability in credentialing processes, particularly as they relate to dual enrollment requirements and curriculum standards.
• Customer service skills for addressing student and parent concerns with professionalism and tact.
• Knowledge of employee benefits and insurance processes for interaction with school administrative operations is advantageous.
• State teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics or a related field is required.
• Master’s Degree in a mathematics is required along with the 18 credit hours of 5000 master level course work.
• Experience teaching Advanced Placement Statistics and Algebra is highly recommended.
• Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
