Job Title: Elder Abuse Attorney

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney with a strong background in Elder Abuse and Personal Injury law. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who can independently handle cases from filing through trial and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This is also a growth-focused role designed for attorneys who want strong casework support while building a long-term litigation career and professional brand.

What You’ll Do

• Handle elder abuse and personal injury litigation matters from start to finish
• Attend trials, arbitrations, mediations, depositions, and court hearings statewide (California travel required)
• Draft and review legal documents including:
• Pleadings
• Motions
• Mediation briefs
• Trial briefs
• Manage discovery and case strategy
• Maintain strict deadlines while managing multiple active cases
• Collaborate with a legal team and support staff in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Active California State Bar license
• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Prior experience in elder abuse law strongly preferred
• Strong background in personal injury litigation
• Experience with:

Depositions

Motion practice

Mediations/arbitrations

Court appearances

• Strong legal writing and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel throughout California as needed

Preferred Experience:

• Elder abuse / nursing home neglect / dependent adult abuse cases
• Plaintiff-side personal injury litigation
• Trial or arbitration experience
• Defense attorneys transitioning to plaintiff work will be considered
