About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in smart wearable devices, health technology, and consumer electronics. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and production of innovative wearable devices by collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical hardware design, sensor integration, embedded systems, and low-power electronics while supporting products from concept through manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems for smart wearable and health monitoring devices.
Create analog and mixed-signal circuit designs for sensor-based electronic products.
Design, review, and validate PCB layouts and low-power electronic architectures.
Develop and test hardware prototypes to improve performance and reliability.
Integrate sensors, embedded electronics, and data acquisition systems into wearable products.
Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, and product development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Define and execute validation, calibration, and performance testing procedures.
Perform hardware debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
Conduct benchtop and real-world testing to ensure product accuracy, durability, and reliability.
Support transition from prototype to manufacturing while ensuring product quality and compliance.
Work with component suppliers and manufacturing partners on hardware selection and validation.
Maintain technical documentation, test reports, and engineering design records.
Stay current with emerging wearable technology, IoT hardware, sensors, and embedded electronics.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
5+ years of experience developing wearable devices, health technology, consumer electronics, or IoT hardware.
Strong experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
Hands-on experience with PCB design and hardware development.
Experience designing low-power electronic systems.
Knowledge of sensor integration and signal acquisition systems.
Experience with embedded hardware development and firmware collaboration.
Proficiency with C/C++, Python, and/or MATLAB.
Experience performing hardware validation, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of electronic components, sensors, and data acquisition systems.
Experience supporting products from prototype through manufacturing.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience with wearable medical devices or health monitoring systems.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and product validation standards.
Experience with consumer electronics manufacturing and production support.
Familiarity with wireless communication technologies and IoT devices.
