Job Summary:

Client is seeking a detail-oriented Precast Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and competitive bids for precast concrete and utility infrastructure projects. The role involves reviewing project plans/specifications, coordinating with sales and production teams, and managing bid documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review blueprints, project plans, and specifications

• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for precast products

• Prepare and submit bids, quotes, and proposals

• Manage bid schedules, quote tracking, and project documentation

• Input estimating information into Titan software

• Coordinate with sales, engineering, and production teams

• Review municipality requirements and project details

• Follow up with customers regarding project status and quotations

• Maintain bid folders, reports, and estimating records

• Participate in estimating strategy and value engineering discussions

Required Experience:

• Experience in precast concrete, construction estimating, or civil estimating

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Experience with quantity takeoffs and bid preparation

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment

• Experience handling multiple bids/projects simultaneously

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Excel

• Microsoft Outlook

• Blueprint reading

• Quantity takeoffs

• Cost estimating

• Bid management

• Titan software experience is a plus
