Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and coordinate full estimates for large and complex projects
• Review and evaluate RFQs, RFPs, and bid documents
• Identify inconsistencies or missing details in contract documents and develop RFIs
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within deadlines
• Review estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy
• Develop necessary clarifications and exclusions for bids
• Review construction documents and understand the scope of work
• Perform detailed take-offs of construction drawings using Quick-Pen or similar software
• Obtain pricing for materials and coordinate bids from subcontractors
• Verify subcontractor scope and prepare cost analysis for labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs
• Maintain and update estimating databases for labor and materials
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Support documentation and project turnover activities

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of related estimating experience or equivalent education/training
• Ability to read and interpret bid documents, scopes of work, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Experience with estimating techniques, cost control, and material/labor take-offs
• Familiarity with Quick-Pen or similar estimating software is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Strong working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Effective collaboration within the team and across departments
• Close alignment between estimated and actual project costs
