About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable cost estimates for industrial service projects. The ideal candidate will review customer RFQs, technical drawings, specifications, and project scopes to develop comprehensive bid packages while working closely with Business Development, Operations, Project Management, Procurement, and Safety teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Review RFQs, bid packages, customer specifications, drawings, and scopes of work to prepare accurate project estimates.

Analyze labor requirements, production rates, equipment utilization, materials, subcontractors, mobilization, travel, freight, lodging, and project schedules.

Develop detailed cost estimates for industrial maintenance and surface preparation projects, including:

Ultra-high-pressure (UHP) waterblasting services

Storage tanks

Offshore platforms

Marine vessels

LNG facilities

Refineries and petrochemical plants

Surface preparation involving fiberglass, rubber liners, epoxy coatings, lead paint, and related materials

Prepare competitive commercial proposals that support business growth and profitability.

Obtain and evaluate pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and equipment rental suppliers.

Participate in estimate review meetings and project handoff discussions with Operations and Project Management teams.

Maintain organized estimating documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure estimates align with project execution plans and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

3–5 years of estimating experience within industrial services, construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industries.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with estimating software, ERP systems, or project management software is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, bid documents, and industrial work scopes.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple estimates while meeting tight deadlines.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
