About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Project Manager to oversee facility operations, maintenance, construction projects, and facility upgrades across a growing multi-location organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong facilities, project management, vendor coordination, and HVAC/MEP experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage facility maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects across multiple locations.
- Plan and manage project budgets, schedules, timelines, and priorities.
- Coordinate construction, renovations, installations, and facility upgrades from planning through completion.
- Work directly with contractors, vendors, landlords, and maintenance teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to standard.
- Coordinate delivery and installation of facility equipment.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs, including HVAC and other building systems.
- Monitor facility equipment and building systems to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians across multiple locations and provide direction as needed.
- Help ensure facilities comply with applicable building codes, safety requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Track work orders, maintenance activities, project progress, and related documentation.
- Support the reliable operation of communication and facility systems across locations.
- Respond to urgent facility issues and coordinate appropriate corrective action.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of Facilities Management experience, preferably supporting multiple locations.
- Experience managing 50+ locations is preferred, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, building systems, maintenance, and facility operations.
- Experience coordinating construction, renovation, installation, or capital improvement projects.
- Proven vendor and contractor management experience.
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility/work-order management systems.
- Experience supervising or directing maintenance trades/technicians.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and facility compliance.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on facilities environment.
Preferred Background
Experience supporting retail, restaurant/food service, fitness, hospitality, or other multi-location environments is highly preferred.
