About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to lead and grow a Family Law practice in South Carolina. This is a senior-level opportunity for an attorney with strong litigation experience, leadership capabilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate will have an established family law practice, excellent courtroom skills, and the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships while helping expand the firm's presence across the state.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle a broad range of family law matters, including:

Divorce

Child Custody

Child Support

Equitable Distribution

Domestic Violence

Alimony

Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements

Other family-related legal matters

Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.

Develop legal strategies and provide comprehensive legal counsel.

Build and maintain strong client relationships while expanding an existing client base.

Lead the growth and development of the Family Law practice.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client service.

Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice development.

Manage case files from intake through resolution while maintaining high professional standards.

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Active license to practice law in South Carolina.

5+ years of Family Law experience.

Strong litigation and courtroom experience.

Experience handling complex family law cases independently.

Existing client base or portable book of business is highly preferred.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.

Strong leadership, organizational, and case management abilities.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing a legal practice.
