We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented General Manager / Director of Operations to lead and optimize all aspects of a growing retail operation. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, operational excellence, employee development, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at developing high-performing teams, and has a strong background in retail operations, inventory management, and sales leadership. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with ownership and play a key role in scaling the business for future expansion.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

Drive revenue growth and overall profitability.

Lead daily sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.

Establish clear sales goals, accountability measures, and performance expectations.

Improve close rates, average transaction values, and customer engagement.

Monitor and analyze KPIs, sales metrics, and business performance.

Develop and mentor a high-performing sales team.


Operations Management:

Oversee inventory flow from receiving through merchandising and sales.

Manage warehouse operations, product pricing, merchandising standards, and inventory organization.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Develop and implement scalable systems and operational processes.

Ensure timely receiving, processing, pricing, and presentation of merchandise.


Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees across multiple departments.

Conduct performance evaluations and accountability discussions.

Foster a culture focused on ownership, urgency, teamwork, and results.

Manage staffing plans, scheduling, and labor productivity.

Lead by example while maintaining high operational standards.


Customer Experience:

Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the organization.

Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

Promote a customer-first culture that aligns with company values.


Success in the Role:

Within the first several months, the successful candidate will:

Improve accountability across all departments.

Implement measurable KPI reporting and performance tracking.

Enhance inventory flow and merchandising execution.

Increase sales productivity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

5+ years of retail management or operations leadership experience.

Demonstrated success driving sales growth and operational improvements.

Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.

Strong background in inventory control, merchandising, receiving, and warehouse operations.

Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to make confident decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Results-driven mindset with strong business acumen.
