A growth-focused investment and operating firm dedicated to scaling roofing businesses across the United States. The organization partners with companies to improve scalability, profitability, and operational efficiency through a “Build It to Sell It” approach, supporting businesses in preparing for successful acquisitions and long-term value creation.

The In-House Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support across all business operations. This includes ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, drafting and negotiating contracts, and overseeing corporate governance matters. The role also involves identifying legal risks, advising on employment law issues, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and protecting intellectual property.

This position requires close collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams to manage legal matters effectively, mitigate risks, and support strategic business initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal counsel across business operations

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts

Ensure corporate governance and regulatory compliance

Advise on employment and labor law matters

Support mergers, acquisitions, and transactional matters

Identify and mitigate legal and business risks

Protect intellectual property assets

Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives


Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Active license to practice law

Strong experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation

Solid understanding of corporate governance and compliance

Experience in employment law and labor relations

Knowledge of mergers, acquisitions, and transactional law

Familiarity with intellectual property law and risk management

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders

Experience in roofing, construction, or related industries is a plus
