Job Title: Instrument Technician (Sterile Processing) – Travel Contract

Location: Northside Hospital Cherokee, Canton, GA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: 8-Hour Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Job Description:

Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician (Sterile Processing) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sterile processing experience and be proficient in decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilising, and reprocessing surgical instruments while following infection control and hospital protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing/Instrument Technician experience
• Experience reprocessing surgical instruments
• Previous travel experience required
• HSPA/CRCST/CSPDT certification preferred
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility

Additional Information:

• No on-call required
• Optional floating
• Facility-provided dark blue scrubs
• Compliance due by the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date
