Job Title: Insurance Defense Litigation Associate

Location: California (Hybrid or Fully Remote – Must Reside in CA)

Salary Range: $108,000 – $145,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and analytical skills, along with hands-on litigation experience. This role involves managing insurance defense matters from inception through trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and respond to discovery
• Prepare for and conduct depositions
• Handle mediations and motion practice
• Assist with trial preparation
• Manage case files in compliance with standard legal billing practices

Preferred Experience:

• Construction defect defense
• Commercial liability matters
• General liability defense
• Professional liability defense

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in California
• Member in good standing with the California State Bar
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
