About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of insurance defense litigation experience to join a growing litigation practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and manage cases through all phases of litigation, from pre-trial preparation through trial. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with strong advocacy, legal research, and writing skills who is passionate about delivering exceptional client representation.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle insurance defense litigation matters from case inception through resolution.

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.

Conduct legal research and prepare well-supported legal arguments.

Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.

Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences, and trial.

Represent clients during court appearances, hearings, and trials.

Collaborate with partners and litigation team members to develop case strategy.

Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and experts.

Review medical records, claim files, and litigation documents as needed.

Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Minimum 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.

Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures.

Excellent legal research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills.

Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery.

Experience conducting depositions and courtroom appearances.

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling medical malpractice or healthcare-related litigation.

Active New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.

Medical or healthcare background is advantageous.
