Position: Interior Construction Project Manager

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Employment: Full-time

Role Summary

The Interior Construction Project Manager will oversee interior construction activities for multifamily residential projects, including apartment units and amenity spaces. This person will manage projects from rough-in/framing through finishes, inspections, punch list, and final turnover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day interior construction activities and subcontractors.
  • Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate construction sequencing across architectural, MEP, and finish trades.
  • Monitor project schedules, critical path activities, manpower, and trade coordination.
  • Create and manage two-week look-ahead schedules.
  • Identify schedule delays, field conflicts, material constraints, and other risks early.
  • Coordinate inspections, punch lists, final corrections, and turnover.
  • Maintain clean, safe, organized, and inspection-ready job sites.
  • Protect completed work and coordinate phased turnover/occupancy.
  • Review subcontractor invoices, pay applications, and change orders.
  • Assist with subcontractor bidding, scope reviews, buyouts, and procurement.
  • Perform material takeoffs, obtain supplier pricing, and coordinate deliveries.
  • Communicate proactively with project leadership, subcontractors, property/asset management, and inspectors.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction management/project management experience.
  • Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial interiors, or large-scale renovation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, architectural finishes, and MEP systems.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple construction trades.
  • Strong understanding of plans, specifications, drawings, inspections, and punch-list processes.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in an active construction environment and perform physical job requirements.
