Job:IT Project Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months -Extensions may be granted at the agency’s discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of information system transformation projects.
- Provide strategic direction and project leadership for enterprise IT initiatives.
- Define business and technical requirements by collaborating with product owners, SMEs, and Scrum teams.
- Manage large-scale enterprise projects and smaller technical initiatives.
- Coordinate with development teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Establish and maintain project governance, controls, and monitoring processes.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Mentor state staff in project management practices and support knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Child Support programs, policies, and business processes.
- Experience with Child Support system modernization projects.
- Proven success managing IT solution implementations.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps.
- Experience implementing project management and governance frameworks.
