I am seeking a detail-oriented, values-driven Junior Associate Attorney to join my practice at Spiegelman Law PC. My firm focuses on gender identity and sexual orientation claims, and I am looking for an associate who shares these core values and is passionate about delivering high-quality advocacy for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Position Overview

• Role: Junior Associate Attorney (0–3 Years Experience)
• Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid optional (Must be based in Los Angeles / Greater SoCal area)
• Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000 per year (DOE)
• Benefits: Health insurance
• Start Date: Immediate / ASAP or October 1

What I Am Looking For

• Licensure: Active California bar license.
• Core Skills: Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical capabilities.
• Litigation Background: Any prior civil litigation experience, including clerkships/internships
• Location: Based in the Los Angeles area with the ability to handle in-person hearings, court appearances, and depositions across Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal briefs.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis on statutory, constitutional, and civil rights issues.
• Attend Southern California court appearances, administrative hearings on behalf of the firm.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in CLE presentations and community education and outreach.
• Collaborate directly with me on case strategy and client representation.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
