About the Job:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Layout CAD Drafter to support facility planning and equipment layout projects within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, performing field verification, updating facility layouts, and collaborating with Industrial Engineers to develop equipment layout solutions. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD drafting experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and maintain detailed 2D AutoCAD layout drawings.

Develop equipment layout scenarios based on engineering requirements.

Update facility master drawings and equipment layouts.

Perform field verification and document existing conditions.

Measure equipment locations and identify available space for future installations.

Create and maintain AutoCAD blocks, Xrefs, attributes, and layer standards.

Support facility planning and space utilization initiatives.

Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.

Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.

Manage multiple drafting projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of 2D AutoCAD drafting experience.

Strong proficiency with:

AutoCAD 2D

Attributes

Layer Management

Experience creating and updating equipment layout drawings.

Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Willingness to learn new processes and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Dynamic Blocks.

Experience drafting industrial, manufacturing, piping, electrical, or structural layouts.

Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing facilities or cleanroom environments.

Familiarity with facility planning and space utilization projects.

Experience performing field measurements and as-built verification.
