Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Assist with patient transfers using proper techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Measure and document vital signs accurately.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with patient care and daily activities.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and patient-care procedures.
• Provide compassionate care to elderly patients and individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's.

Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire LNA license or eligibility to obtain licensure upon hire.
• Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, hospital, rehabilitation, hospice, or home/community care is preferred.
• Experience caring for geriatric patients is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic patient-care procedures, medical terminology, and infection control.
• Ability to safely assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning patients.
