Position Overview

Finger Lakes Health in Geneva, NY is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment. The LPN will provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients while working collaboratively with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients according to established care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the RN or healthcare provider.
• Perform assessments and document patient care accurately.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and nursing documentation.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Support a safe and comfortable patient environment.

Requirements

• Active New York LPN license.
• Current BLS certification preferred/required per facility requirements.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work the assigned shift and complete the full 13-week contract.
