Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Summary:

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join its Phoenix office. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial litigation matters and possess strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters at a national level while collaborating with experienced attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents for complex legal matters.
Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery, document review, and fact development.
Assist in all phases of litigation, from case initiation through trial and appeal.
Lead and coordinate motion practice and discovery efforts with litigation teams.
Analyze complex legal, factual, and procedural issues.
Participate in client communications, strategy discussions, negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service.
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

3–5 years of litigation experience.
Commercial litigation experience preferred.
Experience handling insurance coverage disputes.
Knowledge of antitrust, consumer fraud, consumer protection statutes, and related regulatory matters.
Exposure to complex class action litigation is a plus.
Judicial clerkship and courtroom experience preferred.
Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills.
Experience with e-discovery and complex fact development.
Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters.
Strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment.

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Arizona.
Excellent academic credentials.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
