Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of insurance defense experience to join a dynamic legal team. This role offers significant exposure to all phases of litigation, including the opportunity to participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

·       Draft and manage Case Management Orders

·       Handle court appearances and hearings

·       Conduct and manage written discovery (propounding and responding)

·       Draft motions and legal pleadings (law & motion practice)

·       Organize, analyze, and report case developments to insurance carriers

·       Coordinate with clients, experts, and legal teams

·       Attend site inspections as needed

·       Take and defend depositions, including expert witnesses

·       Support all phases of trial preparation, with opportunities for first- and second-chair trial experience

Qualifications

·       Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

·       Minimum 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience

·       Strong analytical, research, and writing skills

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

·       Comfortable working in a fast-paced legal setting
