Litigation Attorney

This is a hands-on litigation position offering the opportunity to take ownership of cases and gain meaningful experience in areas such as courtroom appearances, depositions, discovery, negotiations, and client communication. The role also provides direct mentorship from the managing attorney and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as you grow with the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an individual caseload of lemon law and personal injury matters
• Take and defend depositions, including PMQ depositions of manufacturer witnesses
• Attend hearings, case management conferences, and mediations
• Draft motions, oppositions, and legal briefs
• Handle written discovery and meet-and-confer matters
• Negotiate settlements directly with opposing counsel
• Communicate with clients regarding case status and strategy

Qualifications:

• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
• Minimum 1 year of law firm litigation experience
• Experience with discovery, depositions, and court appearances
• Strong legal writing and communication skills
• Comfortable communicating with clients and opposing counsel
• Ability to take ownership of cases and work independently
• Lemon law or personal injury experience is a plus, but not required

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• In-office position in Woodland Hills, CA 91367
• California Bar license required
• Candidates local to the San Fernando Valley/Woodland Hills area are preferred
