About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with a strong background in Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) litigation to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing UM/UIM matters from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, taking depositions, and representing clients in arbitrations and trials.

This role offers a hybrid work environment and an opportunity to handle complex insurance defense and coverage-related litigation while collaborating with an experienced legal team.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) litigation matters.

Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and other litigation documents.

Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.

Conduct and defend depositions.

Represent clients during arbitrations, mediations, hearings, and trials.

Analyze legal issues and develop litigation strategies.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance representatives.

Prepare coverage opinions when applicable.

Handle insurance coverage and bad faith litigation matters as needed.

Maintain compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.


Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing.

Minimum 5 years of experience handling Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) litigation.

Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.

Proven deposition, arbitration, and trial experience.

Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.


Preferred Qualifications:

Admission to the New Jersey Bar.

Experience drafting insurance coverage opinions.

Experience handling auto insurance bad faith litigation.

Strong analytical, organizational, and case management skills.
