About the Role
seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys and staff members in its Northwest Arkansas litigation practice. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation, with experience in healthcare law, medical malpractice, or medical litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal and non-legal research.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence.
Support case management, strategy, and litigation progression.
Prepare for depositions, including witness outlines and exhibits.
Prepare discovery requests, objections, and responses.
Issue subpoenas and coordinate depositions.
Assist with document collection, review, and production.
Attend depositions and assist with preparation as needed.
Prepare summaries of depositions, documents, and medical records.
Support trial preparation, including trial/exhibit notebooks and examination materials.
Coordinate trial travel and other logistical requirements.
Assist attorneys during trial when needed.
Track billable hours and expenses.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years of paralegal experience required.
Litigation experience preferred.
Experience with healthcare law, medical malpractice, or medical litigation strongly preferred.
Strong legal research, writing, proofreading, and document-management skills.
Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree and/or completion of an accredited paralegal/legal assistant program preferred.
